Her presentation titled, “Transit-Oriented Development as a Catalyst for Urban Transformation,” explored how TOD can be a driving force for sustainable and inclusive urban developments and districts.
Transit-oriented projects within KPF’s portfolio include One Vanderbilt in New York, which connects directly to Grand Central Terminal, improving the daily commute of thousands of New Yorkers. In Shenzhen, the Shenzhen Center stands as a vibrant mixed-use destination and transit hub that enhances urban connectivity by linking to nearby subway stations and supporting mobility across the city.
Florence oversees the firm’s operation in China and Asia. Her portfolio includes major mixed-use projects in the region such as Victoria Dockside and Hysan Place in Hong Kong, Ping An Finance Centre in Shenzhen, and HKUST (GZ) in Guangzhou.
