A new luxury urban resort, part of the Hilton Hotel Group, has officially opened its doors.
The Waldorf Astoria Shanghai Qiantan is part of the Qiantan Media Port development designed by KPF, which serves as the northern gateway to Qiantan. This integrated development combines entertainment, hospitality, retail, and office spaces, seamlessly connecting with the riverside park and promenade to create a vibrant urban environment.
The hotel, featuring 204 guest rooms and 27 suites, is located on the southeastern edge of the site, along the banks of the Huangpu River, directly facing the Xuhui Riverside across the water. This prime location offers guests both the dynamic cityscape and tranquil natural views. Most of the hotel’s guest rooms are situated along the river, featuring private terraces with exclusive waterfront vistas. The hotel’s top floor also includes an executive lounge and a distinctive linear bar. Each building within the development is strategically positioned according to its programs, fostering close interaction among different components to maximize synergy.
