Firm leadership and key clients came together to closed out KPF’s Asia anniversary events with a celebration in Singapore, hosted at Jiak Kim House.
Chairman Yam of Changi Airport Group and Adele Tan of the Urban Redevelopment Authority joined KPF Principals James von Klemperer, Forth Bagley, Florence Chan, Philip Jacobs, and Robert Whitlock and Directors Shiju Balakrishnan, Michelle Chan, Chad Christie, and Myriam Hamdi to mark the occasion.
KPF has been active in Singapore since the 1990s, when the firm completed United Overseas Bank and the Orchard Building Redevelopment. The firm went on to shape the city’s financial district with Marina Bay Financial Centre and One Raffles Quay, and delivered Marina Bay Suites and Marina Bay Residences along the waterfront. In 2018, KPF completed 18 Robinson, an office tower bifurcated by publicly accessible greenspace and home to the firm’s local office. Today, KPF’s work in the city continues with Changi Airport Terminal 5, designed with Heatherwick Studio, currently under construction and set to be one of the world’s largest airport terminals.
