KPF Projects Featured in Built by Women 2026: New York City

Two KPF projects, 30 Hudson Yards and Meta Farley, have been selected for inclusion in the “Built by Women” 2026 map of New York City.

The Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation created “Built by Women,” a juried mapping initiative that highlights the significant, yet often overlooked, contributions of women across the building industries, including architects, landscape architects, engineers, developers, and contractors. Through this program, the Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation creates national visibility for the breadth and impact of women’s work shaping our built environment.

The 2026 map expands to all five boroughs of New York City, uncovering the innovative, women-led and women-driven projects that are redefining the city’s landscape.

A landmark on the New York City skyline, 30 Hudson Yards defines Manhattan’s first LEED Gold Neighborhood Development. KPF Principal Marianne Kwok led the design direction, Principal Claudia Cusumano served as Project Manager, and Senior Associate Principal Blanche Nunez served as Technical Coordinator.

Meta Farley is a contemporary office space that supports an inclusive, resilient, healthy, and sustainable workplace culture within the transformed James A. Farley Building, a former U.S. Postal Service Office. The project was led by an all-women senior team, including Hana Kassem, Jill Lerner, Claudia Cusumano, Erica Cho, Shannon Hayes, and Jenny Martin, alongside many other contributing women.

30 Hudson Yards and Meta Farley reflect the spirit of “Built by Women”—recognizing the essential contributions of women in leadership and collaborative roles, and the ways their work advances design excellence, equity, and impact.
