The KPF Principal will represent the College’s Department of Architecture in his new position on the Alumni Society Board for Penn State University’s College of A&A.
Lloyd brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the Alumni Society Board, drawing on a distinguished career that spans complex infrastructure projects and innovative design delivery. As one of KPF’s longest-tenured partners, Lloyd has led multidisciplinary teams on major projects such as Hudson Yards, Mohegan Sun, the Port Authority Bus Terminal, and Changi Airport Terminal 5. His approach integrates design, engineering, and construction, emphasizing collaboration and creative solutions for both public and private stakeholders. Lloyd is also recognized for his commitment to mentorship and technical education, overseeing KPF’s in-house programs and contributing to industry organizations including the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
The A&A Alumni Society Board serves as the governing body for Penn State’s College of Arts and Architecture, promoting ongoing communication and relationships among alumni, students, faculty, and affiliated groups. The college offers more than 30 undergraduate and 15 graduate degrees in disciplines such as architecture, art, music, theatre, and landscape architecture, and is celebrated for its vibrant community and world-class faculty. Lloyd’s appointment reflects his dedication to advancing the profession and supporting the next generation of designers, artists, and educators in one of the nation’s leading college towns.
