Lloyd Sigal Becomes Publicolor Board Member

KPF is pleased to announce the appointment of the KPF Principal to the Board of Publicolor, an innovative organization dedicated to empowering students through design and educational opportunities.

Lloyd’s appointment marks a meaningful continuation of KPF’s longstanding relationship with Publicolor. The late KPF co-founder Gene Kohn was an active and influential board member whose dedication to youth development and educational access is recognized through his commemoration as an “Honorary Chair Emeritus.” Lloyd, who has been with KPF since 1988, brings decades of experience leading complex projects and a deep commitment to mentorship and technical education within the architecture profession. His leadership in initiatives such as the AIANY TORCH Mentoring program and the A.C.E. Mentorship program reflects his passion for fostering opportunity and enrichment among young people.

Founded by Ruth Lande Shuman in 1996, Publicolor is a pioneering educational and youth development organization that empowers students facing significant life challenges for success in school and career. Through a multi-year, project-based continuum of programs, Publicolor transforms learning environments and engages students in underserved communities, providing new opportunities and encouragement along the way. As board member, Lloyd will support Publicolor’s mission of using color, collaboration, and design to inspire and uplift the next generation.
