Five KPF Projects Win 2026 CRED Awards

Taking Gold and Silver honors, the winning projects in the 12th China Real Estate and Design (CRED) Awards were announced at an event at the KPF-designed Qiantan Media Port.

CPIC Xintiandi Commercial Center, The Wave, TP-LINK LXD, and TCC DAKA Renewable Resources Recycling Center received Gold Awards, while Ping An Financial Center, Jinan, received Silver.

Located on the eastern end of Taipingqiao Park in Shanghai, CPIC Xintiandi Commercial Center integrates high-rise towers with pedestrian-focused retail, drawing on the character of its historic neighborhood.

A new public plaza anchoring Shenzhen’s emerging Central Social District, The Wave integrates a circular sunken plaza, a freestanding pavilion, and a cascading water curtain into a composition that engages in geometric dialogue with the adjacent KPF-designed China Resources Tower.

TP-LINK LXD in Shenzhen redefines circulation as habitable ground: a one-kilometer continuous landscape lifts the ground plane and wraps around two office towers and a dormitory building.

By wrapping a high-efficiency waste incineration facility in a sensitively designed nature and cultural center, TCC DAKA Renewable Resources Recycling Center demonstrates cutting-edge building techniques, while educating the public about sustainable futures.

The landmark tower, Ping An Financial Center, Jinan, forms a balanced asymmetric pair with its neighbor, the Metropolis Vanke Center, and creates a village-like retail environment woven into Jinan’s urban fabric.

This is the ninth consecutive year that KPF projects have been awarded top honors. CRED Awards evaluate projects on architectural aesthetics, environmental protection, user experience, and economic benefits.
