The KPF Director will explore the role of façade design in shaping the experience of both a building and its wider district. He will consider how building envelopes can balance craft, performance, and a meaningful response to place.
Drawing on KPF projects such as 64 University Place, 520 Fifth Avenue, and 11-12 Floral Street, Brian will examine how materiality, detailing, and environmental performance contribute to buildings that respond to both their users and surroundings. Across projects in different cities and contexts, he will consider how a global perspective can be combined with local distinctiveness to create façades rooted in the character of their place.
ZAK World of Facades returns for its 233rd global edition, this time in Mumbai, India, bringing together architects, engineers, façade specialists and industry leaders to explore the latest in façade design, engineering and technology.
