Since joining KPF in 1988, Lloyd Sigal has been responsible for managing some of the firm’s largest and most complex projects, including numerous large-scale commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, academic, governmental, residential, sports and convention facilities in the United States, Europe and Asia.

Lloyd has been responsible for managing and directing the 5.5-million-square-foot Mohegan Sun Resort in Uncasville, Connecticut; the 780,000 square foot Baruch Academic Complex for the City University of New York and Dormitory Authorty of the State of New York; the 3.5 million square foot Samsung Electronics Headquarters at Seocho in Seoul, South Korea; a 110,000 square foot office building for Hampshire Companies at Metropark, NJ; Banco Santander’s 1.6 million square foot office tower in Miami, Florida; the repositioning of a 400,000 square foot hotel and conference center in Battery Park City; and the 2.2 million square foot mixed-use American Commerce Center for Hill International at 1800 Arch Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania which includes a 1,500 foot office tower.

Other projects include: the 600,000 square foot U.S. Courthouse in Minneapolis; a 1.5 million square foot headquarters for UBS at Newport in Jersey City, NJ; the 7.5 million square foot JW Marriott Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas; a 150,000 square foot residential tower at Park Avenue Place for RFR in New York City (60 East 55th Street); a boutique residential building at 1055 Park Avenue in New York City; 2 office buildings (1 million square feet) at Canary Wharf in London; and the New York Sports and Convention Center.

Lloyd received Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Bachelor of Architecture degrees from The Pennsylvania State University’s College of Arts and Architecture, where he has also served as an architectural juror. Lloyd is a Registered Architect in the State of New York and a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), for which he serves on the New York State AIA committees for firm management, contracts and risk management. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute and the National Fire Protection Association and has lectured at the New York State American Council of Engineering Companies of New York and the New York State AIA.
