Amanda brings in-depth knowledge of infrastructure, commercial, and institutional work to her projects across the United States. Working closely with various stakeholders, from government entities to academic institutions and commercial developers, she delivers transformative projects that make an impact on communities large and small.

Long-Term Stewardship

Amanda has managed some of KPF’s most innovative infrastructure, master planning, and commercial work, maintaining strong relationships with the user groups invested in these projects. For the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Bus Terminal renovation and expansion, Amanda helped lead the day-to-day architectural coordination and planning efforts for one of New York City’s largest transportation facilities. As Project Manager for SouthWorks, a dynamic repositioning project in upstate New York, Amanda delivered a comprehensive framework for adapting outdated building and infrastructural assets into a new economic and social hub. Similarly, she was instrumental in the production of 17xM, an office building in Washington D.C., where she worked closely with the client and design team to meet and exceed the project’s sustainability targets.

Academic Expertise

Amanda’s institutional projects have fulfilled the unique needs of varied academic clients, delivering transformational spaces that will continue to perform for years to come. For the renovation and expansion of the University of Kentucky College of Law Building, Amanda leveraged user feedback to develop a comparative analysis that yielded a spectrum of program and planning options. For Northwestern University’s Ann McIlrath Drake Executive Center, she referenced cutting-edge business school trend research to devise a programming plan based on flexible classroom space and ample amenities. At the Collegiate School, she helped create a blend of traditional educational facilities and adaptable space that supports students and teachers.

Industry Leadership

Before joining KPF, Amanda served as an Artist in Residence at the 2012 American Psychoanalytic Society 2012 National Meeting, presenting her studio’s research on educational facilities, psychology, and architecture. She co-chaired KPF’s ACE Mentoring program for high school students from 2015–2019 and joined the ACE Greater New York Board of Directors in 2025.
