Two KPF Projects Honored in the 2025 International Architecture Awards

Citymark Tower and Ziraat Bank Headquarters were recognized in the program, demonstrating KPF’s expertise in highly crafted, contextually designed tall buildings.

Citymark Tower, a landmark mixed-use development in northeast Shenzhen, has been named a winner in the “Skyscraper/High-Rises” category. With an elegant unity of form and function, the 388-meter Citymark Tower sets a new benchmark for the modern mixed-use tower and redefines the way people live and work in Shenzhen. Featuring strategically stacked programs, the tower tapers to provide optimal floorplates for the different uses: offices on the lower, larger floorplates and luxury serviced apartments on the higher, smaller floorplates. A shared clubhouse amenity connects all tenants mid-tower, fostering a sense of community.

Ziraat Bank Headquarters, the centrepiece of the Istanbul International Financial Center (IIFC), received an Honorable Mention in the “Office Building” category for its integration of cultural heritage and innovative workplace design. The development comprises twin office towers rising to 40 and 46 storeys, linked by a sculptural podium with an eight-storey atrium. The project demonstrates KPF’s commitment to designing highly crafted buildings that meet the demands of a modern workplace, supporting employee well-being and collaboration through thoughtful workspaces and shared amenities.

The International Architecture Awards are organised by The Chicago Athenaeum and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. 2025 is the ninth consecutive year that KPF projects have been recognized in the awards program.
