The landmark twin towers received a Special Mention in the Office category.
The headquarters of Türkiye’s national bank, which was completed late last year, serves as the centre piece of the Istanbul International Financial Center (IIFC). The contemporary office building is deeply rooted in Istanbul’s physical and cultural context and was designed to prioritise employee well-being, collaboration, and social interaction across floors. It offers varied workspaces and shared amenities, including prayer rooms, naturally ventilated double-height atria, and roof terraces. The development extends to more than 450,000m2 incorporating Ziraat Bank’s headquarters, an auditorium, ground-floor retail, and below-grade parking.
Ziraat Bank Headquarters will be displayed in this year’s A+Awards gallery, which will be released in June. The Architizer A+ Awards program champions architectural excellence across the globe in over 100 categories.
