KPF’s One Vanderbilt was honored with a “Best of the Best” Award in the Commercial Development category at the annual program. KPF’s New York Headquarters and the 1411 Broadway Lobby renovation were also recognized as Honorees in their respective categories.
As the tallest office tower in Midtown Manhattan, One Vanderbilt redefines the civic and commercial landscape of New York City. Developed by SL Green and Hines, the project seamlessly connects with Grand Central Terminal, integrating cutting-edge office space, a lively public plaza, and direct transit access with the existing fabric of the city. The tower’s interiors, celebrated for their sophistication, sustainability, and wellness features, have achieved both LEED Platinum and WELL Platinum certifications. One Vanderbilt’s design elevates the workplace experience and enhances the daily journey of thousands of commuters, establishing a new benchmark for commercial development in the city. The project has previously been recognized with a 2021 NYCxDESIGN Award Win and a 2021 Best of Year Interior Design Award, both as an Honoree in the “Shining Moment” category and Winner in the “Iconic Project” category.
In addition to this top honor, KPF’s in-house renovation of its New York Headquarters was named an Honoree in the “Firm’s Own Office” category, reflecting the firm’s commitment to collaborative, wellness-oriented environments. The 1411 Broadway Lobby, a KPF renovation in the Garment District, was also recognized as an Honoree in the Small Commercial Lobby + Amenity Space category. All three projects exemplify KPF’s dedication to innovative, sustainable, and contextually rich design across a range of project types.
