Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has announced a new luxury hotel and branded residences in Jeddah Central, designed by KPF, with the opening anticipated in 2030.
Situated on a prime waterfront site, Mandarin Oriental, Jeddah, will offer panoramic views of the Red Sea and serve as an urban sanctuary where elevated living, cultural interaction, and well-being converge. The development is part of Jeddah Central, a world-class destination featuring a state-of-the-art marina, private residences, retail and dining districts, and cultural attractions, including an opera house, oceanarium, sports stadium, and museum. KPF has been selected as urban planner and architect, envisioning a unique, sustainable, low-density, and low-rise structure that harmoniously blends locally inspired architectural tradition with a contemporary waterside experience.
KPF Principal Bruce Fisher commented, “The hotel and branded residences harmoniously blend locally inspired architectural tradition with a contemporary waterside experience that harnesses the energy of the Marina and calm of the Red Sea.”
The hotel will feature 140 elegantly appointed guestrooms and suites, 115 spacious apartments for longer stays, and 187 branded residences with exclusive amenities such as a lounge, entertainment spaces, library, cinema, games room, golf simulator, children’s club, swimming pool, and fitness center. Guests and residents will enjoy five dining venues, extensive meeting and event spaces, and exceptional leisure and wellness facilities, including The Spa at Mandarin Oriental. This project reflects Mandarin Oriental’s commitment to craftsmanship, design excellence, and immersive experiences, while supporting Jeddah’s vision to become a leading global destination for business, leisure, and culture.
