Located in Shenzhen’s Houhai district—one of the city’s most dynamic waterfront and financial hubs—this mixed-use, residential development is conceived as a new benchmark for high-density luxury living.
One Bay Park establishes a distinct identity within a rapidly evolving skyline, positioning itself as both an urban anchor and a refined residential enclave overlooking Shenzhen Bay. Inspired by the intricate organization of plant cell structures, the design translates a biophilic logic into a formal system that transitions from regularized cellular geometries at lower levels to more differentiated, organic expressions as the buildings rise. Five sculptural residential towers, ranging from 150 to 250 meters in height, are arranged to create a rhythmic skyline composition while optimizing views, orientation, and spatial separation.
The family-oriented development will combine luxury residential, a Ritz-Carlton hotel, a kindergarten, and activity zones including a children’s playground and basketball court. At the ground level, a carefully articulated podium integrates retail, arrival sequences, and landscaped public spaces to establish a vibrant yet controlled urban interface. A series of layered gardens, courtyards, and pedestrian pathways mediates between the city and the residences, creating a gradient from public activity to private retreat.
The distributed amenity network vertically extends from the ground plane to the tower crowns. A sequence of curated experiences—from tranquil tea pavilions and elevated gardens to wellness, social, and family-oriented spaces—culminates in a private sky club in the tallest tower that offers panoramic views of Shenzhen Bay. This layered approach integrates individual amenities into a holistic lifestyle offering.
The façade design employes a refined material palette and articulated detailing to enhance depth, proportion, and performance. Together, architecture and landscape operate as a cohesive arrangement that softens the density of the development while maintaining a strong and recognizable skyline presence.
