Join KPF for Open House New York tours of One Madison Avenue in Flatiron and Vagelos Innovation Laboratories in Washington Heights on Sunday, October 18.
KPF is partnering with Open House New York (OHNY) to offer public tours during the organization’s annual weekend festival, which was founded to unlock architectural destinations and urban spaces for New Yorkers. Ticketing opens on October 2 at 12pm.
KPF Director Andrew Werner and Senior Associate Principal Chandler Archbell will be co-leading tours of One Madison Avenue—the transformative adaptive reuse project bringing flexible, Class-A office space to the Flatiron District while complementing its landmarked neighbor, the Metropolitan Life Clock Tower. The tour is part of OHNY’s “Innovation in Preservation” collection, as the tour will highlight the limestone façade’s preservation and the engineering challenge of keeping the clock tower’s hotel fully operational during major construction.
