The KPF Principal will serve on the organization’s 2025 Board of Directors, assisting Open House New York in its work to increase public access to—and knowledge of—the places, people, projects, systems, and ideas that define the city.
Committed to providing broad access to New York’s celebrated places and buildings, OHNY is a city-wide platform for education, exploration, and engagement with the city. Its year-round programming includes tours, talks, screenings, and receptions, which are capped by the annual Open House New York Weekend that unlocks more than 200 sites across the city and attracts over 50,000 attendees.
KPF has participated in several OHNY events over the years, including a recent nighttime tour of One Vanderbilt; OHNY Weekend visits to One Madison Avenue, 660 Fifth Avenue, and Hudson Commons; a screening of the KPF-produced “Resiliency + Heart” video about the NYCHA Red Hook Houses project; and a virtual visit to Edge with lighting designer L’Observatoire International.
