One North Quay, Verso Building, and the Shoreditch Works masterplan have been recognised in the programme, which is supported by the Mayor of London, Sadiq Kahn.
Currently under construction in Canary Wharf, One North Quay is a finalist in the Healthcare and Life Sciences category. The vertical campus is leading the growth of a new science, health and technology district and is setting a precedent in terms of scale, technology, and sustainability.
The proposed Verso Building, the centrepiece of Shoreditch Works, is a finalist in the Workplaces category. The workspace has been designed with flexibility at its core, featuring a range of unit sizes, specifications, and rental price points to accommodate different business types and growth stages.
Shoreditch Works, finalist in the Masterplans & Place Strategies category, proposes a regenerative business hub, which aims to nurture local enterprises alongside established technology firms. The plan sets a new benchmark for community-led regeneration and contextual design within one of London’s most dynamic conservation areas.
The NLA Awards celebrate the people, places, and projects shaping a better London. The finalists were selected for their contribution to a city of equity, sustainability and prosperity. Winners will be announced on November 20.
