The KPF Director chaired “Creating Inclusive Places” at the half-day conference from New London Architecture (NLA).
Experienced in designing the next generation of academic and life sciences buildings in London—such as One North Quay, the UK’s first skyscraper lab, which broke ground last September—Brian led a discussion on strategies for inclusive growth.
Brian was joined by industry experts Sarah Cary, Chief Development Officer (White City Campus) at Imperial College London; Ating Liu, Head of London Cancer Hub Capital Programme at the London Borough of Sutton; Joss Taylor, Director at Populate; Matt Flood, Development Director and Head of Commercial Development at Related Argent; Stafford Critchlow, Director at Wilkinson Eyre; and Peter Runacres, Head of Urban Futures at Earl’s Court Development Company. The session explored best practices for placemaking—creating environments that foster collaboration and economic growth—concluding with an interactive Q&A.
The NLA Innovation Summit served as a key moment to bring together distinguished leaders from local government and the built environment to shape the future of innovation in London.
