KPF Named “Elite Design Brand” and Four Projects Recognised in the CRED Awards

Time Tower, NYU Shanghai, Lenovo Houhai Center, and Harbor Tower win Gold and Merit awards and KPF was recognised as an “Elite Design Brand” at the 10th China Real Estate and Design (CRED) Awards.

Receiving ‘Gold’  in the Commercial Office category Lenovo Houhai Center, Shenzhen, features paired office towers and dramatic cantilevers which embody the spirit of innovation that characterizes this emerging district .

NYU Shanghai, also received a “Gold” award. The design of the university campus maximizes interdisciplinary interaction and represents the institution’s mission to provide a gateway for Chinese students to the world and for international students to China.

Time Tower and Prince Bay Harbor Tower each received the “Merit” award. Time Tower, Shenzhen, provides class A offices complemented by elegant detailing and a serene urban garden. Prince Bay Harbor Tower, marks the gateway between the Port of Shenzhen to the south and Taiziwan development to the east. The transit oriented development includes a 23-story residential tower and a two-story retail podium, linked to the Taiziwan Development through public transportation located below grade.

The CRED Awards recognise design excellence and are judged on architectural aesthetics, environmental protection, user experience and economic benefits. KPF were joined at the awards ceremony by clients at Lenovo and CMG. See the full list of winners here.
