The KPF Principal addressed New Zealand’s leading architecture and design professionals as the keynote speaker at the 2025 Design Experience event series.
Josh brought over 30 years of experience at KPF to his presentation: “Hospitality as a Catalyst in Creating Central Social Districts.” Renowned for his acute sensibility to the individual experience and his expertise in designing hospitality-led urban environments, Josh has led the design of award-winning projects such as Park Hyatt Suzhou, Aman Tokyo, and The Langham & Andaz Xintiandi in Shanghai. His work is defined by a synthesis of identity, placemaking, and wellness, and he draws inspiration from his projects’ cultural and physical contexts to create vibrant, pedestrian-focused districts in cities across the globe.
