In a lecture entitled “The Multi-Layered City: Mobility & Density in the Architectural Practice,” the KPF President will address university students in Mexico City.
Jamie’s talk will introduce a taxonomy of public space spanning exterior and interior, ground and roof, intimate and grand, highlighting the importance of adaptability and inclusivity in urban environments. Drawing on global precedents and KPF case studies, including Covent Garden in London and One Vanderbilt in New York, he will demonstrate how thoughtful urban interventions can nurture civic life.
