On September 10, the KPF Director will draw on her experience working on the Mount Sinai Tisch Cancer Hospital to discuss what it takes to modernize a hospital campus without interrupting patient care.
Georgina will speak on the panel “Modernizing Legacy Infrastructure: The Mount Sinai Model for Maintaining Operational Resilience,” alongside Colin Barrett of Mount Sinai and Keith Marks of Gilbane Building Company. Together, they will discuss how strategic design decisions and close collaboration allowed the team to meet local energy efficiency requirements, bringing the campus up to current standards while vital patient care continues uninterrupted.
