The KPF Principal brought her expertise in large-scale, people-centered design to ARCH:ID 2026, the premier annual architecture forum and trade event hosted by the Indonesian Institute of Architects (IAI).
With nearly two decades at KPF, Florence has led and managed some of the firm’s most complex and celebrated projects, including the 530-meter CTF Finance Centre in Guangzhou—one of China’s tallest buildings—Victoria Dockside in Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) campus, a landmark achievement in sustainable, interdisciplinary campus design. Her work is defined by a commitment to the public realm, technical excellence, and the belief that architecture must be designed first and foremost for people.
Now in its sixth edition, ARCH:ID has grown into Southeast Asia’s most significant platform for architecture and built environment professionals, uniting over 31,000 architects and industry leaders from across Indonesia and the wider region. The event was held April 23–26 at ICE BSD City, a convention center located in Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD) City—a 14,826-acre master-planned district on the western edge of Jakarta for which KPF developed a comprehensive urban vision, establishing a paradigm for sustainable growth, multi-modal transit, and community integration in Indonesia’s capital. Florence’s appearance at ARCH:ID, set against the backdrop of a KPF-planned city, underscored the firm’s deep investment in Southeast Asia and its commitment to shaping a healthy future for the region’s built environment.
