The four KPF-designed buildings—two office towers and two retail buildings—within an SOM-designed master plan activate pedestrian life and fuel a dynamic urban environment, enhancing wellness and community in the lively, mixed-use One Bangkok district.

KPF designed four essential buildings totaling over 370,000 square meters for the landmark One Bangkok development, each introducing a distinct architectural expression and experience, rising prominently within the site and contributing to the city’s unique urban fabric.

Tower 4, an office high-rise located in Zone 2 of the district, is defined by a structural facade animated by unique vertical extruding features that give character to the building. The design for Tower 4 invokes traditional Thai architecture, with curvilinear elements referencing the region’s steep, gabled rooflines and a façade that emphasizes daylight and uses light shelves to disperse it throughout the floorplates, highlighting the importance of employee wellness. The tower offers panoramic views to the south, overlooking Lumphini Park and creating a strong connection to one of Bangkok’s most important green spaces. Adjacent to Tower 4 in Zone 2, The Storeys is a low-rise retail building designed for community and urban activation. Marked by a semi-outdoor Town Square sheltered by a dramatic glass canopy and ringed with concept retail spaces, The Storeys creates a human-scaled, nature-inspired, and accessible environment that promotes an energetic atmosphere and around-the-clock activity, serving as a complementary ground-plane activator to Tower 4.

In Zone 3 of One Bangkok, Tower 5 and its retail complement Post 1928 create a similar pairing, designed to work together to foster an active and interesting cityscape. Featuring a rational form accented with lightweight boxy extrusions, Tower 5 overlooks the central civic plaza and prioritizes views to the north. Scheduled to open in Phase Two of the project, Post 1928 interacts with the plaza by providing a curated arcade experience lined with shops running from east to west along the length of the site.
