As part of the development’s ambitious urban renewal program, 2 & 5 Corporate Avenue adds 2.4 million square feet of retail and office space to Shanghai.
Forming a complete and continuous urban interface with Xintiandi on the west side, the mixed-use development includes two 28-story office buildings and three ground-floor retail spaces. As the center of the master plan for the entire Taipingqiao area, the project’s design seeks to harmonize with the existing buildings in the neighborhood and the adjacent public park, creating a unique architectural image and commercial environment while maintaining the continuity of space and architectural language.
Following the master plan guideline, a walkway on the second floor links the office buildings. The major facades of the buildings face the south, which takes full advantage of the lake view. The exterior walls of the buildings are clad with stone panels and glass, forming a cohesive design for the Corporate Avenue development.
