The KPF Director joined a panel on transit infrastructure design and integration alongside other industry experts at the Urban Land Institute event in Manila on March 25.
Yee Tak presented a selection of KPF’s transit-oriented development (TOD) projects including Hudson Yards in New York, a dense urban neighborhood built over the Long Island Rail Road train yard, and Roppongi Hills in Tokyo, a self-sustaining district with direct public transit connections to the global city. Yee Tak’s TOD expertise is exemplified by her leadership of KPF’s design contributions to One Bangkok, a fully integrated district combining office, retail, hospitality, and residential components in the heart of the capital city.
The ULI Philippines 2025 conference was centered around the theme of modernizing and expanding urban design in the context of the rapid economic growth that the country is experiencing. The conference session covered three distinct topics including the modernization of airport design, techniques for ensuring the sustainability and stability of energy and utilities in the infrastructure sector, and the integration of transport hubs into urban planning.
