Sidley to Anchor 725 West Randolph Street in Chicago’s Fulton Market

The global law firm has signed a lease within 725 West Randolph Street, a KPF-designed Class AA office tower under development by Related Midwest in Chicago.

Sidley will occupy more than half of the building’s 968,000 square feet, making it the tower’s primary tenant. As reported by Crain’s Chicago Business, the deal marks 725 West Randolph Street as the first new downtown office skyscraper to move forward since the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, a signal of renewed confidence in Chicago’s office market.

Rising 45 stories, 725 West Randolph Street will create a new gateway to one of the nation’s fastest-growing mixed-use districts upon its anticipated completion in 2030. The tower features column-free floorplates that maximize flexibility and unobstructed views of the Chicago skyline and a rooftop terrace. At street level, an 11,500-square-foot public plaza connects the building to the energy of the surrounding neighborhood.
