Ringo Tse Named an A&D 40 Under 40 and Two KPF Projects Reach the Finals of the A&D Awards

KPF Associate Principal Ringo Tse has been recognized as one of Asia Pacific’s most talented young architects in the prestigious annual list from PERSPECTIVE Global. In addition, Guangzhou One Pengrui and Huamu Lot 10 – The Summit have been shortlisted in the awards program.

At KPF, Ringo has contributed to a range of projects, including One Shenzhen Bay and One Causeway Bay. His work focuses on façade design, with a particular interest in the relationship between materiality, assembly, and human connection. He helps advance the application of contemporary technologies that support thoughtful craftsmanship while maintaining material integrity. Ringo is committed to continuous learning and fostering a collaborative, engaged design culture.

Guangzhou One Pengrui is a finalist in the residential category. The mixed-use complex synthesizes local landscapes and the urban environment on the eastern edge of Guangzhou’s Financial District. The 328,000 m² project includes 149 serviced apartments, where the towers’ elliptical contours are deliberately shaped to optimize orientation, ensuring privacy while framing panoramic views of the Pearl River.Designed for resilience, Guangzhou One Pengrui’s sponge city design integrates nature, porous paving, and rainwater management systems to promote ecological and environmental sustainability.

Shortlisted in the Best Mixed Use category, Huamu Lot 10 – The Summit is a user-centric urban environment located in Shanghai. The development is defined by three bold office towers with cantilevered sky galleries—designed to flip the equation of a typical tower—and a central plaza that signals the development as a space integrating culture and commerce, transforming a previously neglected riverfront into an active civic realm.
