Pamela Wackett Delivers Presentation at Construction Goes Circular

In “Building for the Future: Transforming Existing Buildings,” the KPF Director used examples from the studio’s portfolio to illustrate the potential of adaptive reuse.

Pamela’s presentation highlighted a collection of projects designed to maximise performance and value.

In London, the deep retrofit and extension of Panorama St Paul’s has transformed an outdated 1980s office block, treating the original façade as a quarry by reusing existing Portland stone and granite to create a new high-performance envelope. In New York, Hudson Commons preserves over 85% of the original warehouse structure and increases density through a 17-story overbuild.

Pamela’s experience includes adaptive reuse, high-rise, residential, mixed-use, and transportation projects. She constantly explores opportunities for innovation in technology, construction, and sustainability, pushing each project to achieve exceptional performance and impact.

Construction Goes Circular brings together industry leaders, forward-thinking scientists, and changemakers from across the construction ecosystem.

The event took place on October 8, 2025 at Sibelius Hall in Lahti, Finland.
