Pamela Wackett
Pamela Wackett’s experience spans more than two decades and includes the design and delivery of some of KPF’s most iconic projects in Europe, South America, and Asia. Pamela treats every project as a quest for perfection, seeking design solutions that ensure the building’s form, façade and plan are in perfect dialogue with each other.
Pamela leads projects from concept to completion with technical proficiency that encompasses high-rise, residential, mixed-use and transportation work. Setting high standards for quality that exceed the requirements of her clients, she is constantly exploring innovation in technology, construction and sustainability.
Her detailed solutions fulfill design intent, whilst maximizing efficiency and market viability. For the Gemdale Gangxia Tower Pamela led the façade modulation exercise, testing surfaces and materials over the complex geometry. She also led the detailed development of Abu Dhabi Midfield Terminal, optimizing the design process by applying systems and creating responsive solutions for the defining architectural components.
Pamela’s projects address local needs and harness the potential of every site to positively impact the wider city. This approach has been particularly valuable in achieving planning permissions in historically sensitive parts of Central London for Lucan Place and The Clearings.
Pamela moved to London in 1999, working at Skidmore Owings & Merrill before joining KPF in 2009. Within KPF, she shares her expertise on high-end residential and assisted living with peers through the firm’s Residential Architecture Group and supports emerging talent through its Mentoring Committee. A Registered Architect in Chile, Pamela is fluent in English and Spanish.
