In recognition of a historic $70 million gift from alumna Ann McIlrath Drake, the KPF-designed executive education center will be named to honor her engagement and philanthropy.
The newly named Ann McIlrath Drake Executive Center will serve as the home for Kellogg’s Executive MBA and Executive Education programs, as well as provide academic spaces for students and visiting professionals to learn, network, and advance their careers. Scheduled to open in fall 2027, the seven-story building is positioned adjacent to the existing Global Hub and overlooks Lake Michigan, creating a unified Kellogg campus. The facility features technology-enabled classrooms, including the central Global Classroom, ten state-of-the-art classrooms, seven dining halls, 160 guest rooms, and over 10,000 square feet of group study space. These spaces are designed to foster collaboration among students, faculty, alumni, and industry leaders from around the world.
The Ann McIlrath Drake Executive Center integrates high-tech, hybrid learning environments with amenities and hospitality programing, including guest rooms, to create an engaging residency experience for students and visiting faculty. Biophilic design features and natural materials reference the lakefront site, while the limestone façade connects the center to the historic campus context. The building is a centerpiece of Kellogg’s Full Circle Campaign, a $600 million initiative to transform business education for generations to come.
