The KPF Principal served as a panellist in the discussion titled “What Do We Have to Build to Avoid Catastrophic Climate Change?” as part of the MSc in Sustainable Urban Design, a course developed in association with The King’s Foundation.
Building on his participation over the last decade, Mustafa was joined by panellists Caroline Russell, London Assembly Member, Deputy Chair of the Transport Committee, and Leader of the City Hall Green Group; Leslie Ohomele, Senior Design Manager at The King’s Foundation; and Sowmya Parthasarathy, Director of Urban Design at Arup. Each panellist offered their unique perspectives in response to the provocation, exploring opportunities and challenges in the built environment and sustainability. The panel discussion was chaired by Dr David Howard, Associate Professor in Sustainable Urban Development at the University of Oxford and was followed by a Q&A session with a diverse and engaged group of students from around the world.
