KPF Projects Named “Best of the Best” in the Architecture MasterPrize

Four KPF-designed projects were named winners in the Tall Buildings, Education, and Transportation categories.

Two landmarks, 320 Granville and Citymark Tower, have been named “Best of the Best” in the Highrise category. Located in the center of Vancouver, 320 Granville is distinguished by its rippling ribbon-like façade and offers AAA office space along with an enhanced public realm. Citymark Tower, Shenzhen, is a mixed-use, supertall structure comprising offices and luxury apartments. Rising 378 meters, it boasts a sleek, aerodynamic appearance.

NYU Shanghai is recognized in the Educational Buildings category. The campus serves as a gateway between Chinese and international students. In a pinwheel configuration of four buildings, it was designed to break down silos and create a variety of collaborative indoor and outdoor spaces, from an expansive quad to intimate alcoves.

Zayed International Airport was recognized in the Transportation category. The cutting-edge Terminal provides a new gateway to Abu Dhabi and has  received multiple accolades this year including recognition in Prix Versailles World’s Most Beautiful Airport program, ranking third as Skyrax’s World’s Best Airport, and winning the Global Passenger Satisfaction Award in the Airport Service Quality Awards.

The Architecture MasterPrize was created by the Farmani Group, an organization focused on the curation of international art and architecture, to further the appreciation of global architecture.
