John Bushell Presents at the 2025 Bisnow Student Accommodation Summit

The KPF Principal discussed the role of student housing in supporting London’s innovation economy at the annual conference.

The presentation built on a recent thought piece written by John, which explores the importance of Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA). “Supporting London’s knowledge economy with enough student housing will be crucial to its success as an innovation capital of global significance. London seeks to emulate the example of Boston, where universities, urban research, private enterprise, and government policy have built a thriving innovation ecosystem.”

John is the Design Principal for Chapter London Bridge, a landmark student accommodation building in London. The project provides 905-student beds and 14,000 square feet of amenity space for students from several central London universities.

The Bisnow UK Living Series: Student Accommodation Summit explored the future of investment, operations, and development in a rapidly evolving UK student housing market. This event was held in London on October 9.
