On November 20, the KPF Principal spoke on the panel “Local Solutions, Global Impact,” where he discussed the recently opened terminal.
During the panel, the group discussed how to handle supply chain constraints by shifting towards localization and improving stakeholder collaboration. Jochen provided insight into KPF’s work on Abu Dhabi International Airport Terminal A, which welcomed its first passengers earlier this month. The decade long process required coordination between multiple offices, collaboration strategies to account for the global pandemic, and sustainability innovations.
Jochen was joined by Scott Halyday, Director at Linesight and Stephen Pimbley, Director at SPARK Architects. Angela Spathonis, Principal and Managing Director at Gensler, moderated the panel.
