The KPF President and Principal joined a distinguished lineup of speakers at the annual summit held on September 19 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York City.
The conference, themed “Elevating Cities; Actioning Real Estate,” convenes influential voices from the fields of development, urban planning, investment, architecture, and public policy to discuss the evolving impact of real estate on the future of cities. Through a series of thought-provoking panel discussions, the event explored how innovative design, sustainable growth strategies, and equitable development practices are transforming urban environments into more livable, resilient, and connected communities. Jamie’s participation highlights KPF’s ongoing commitment to advancing the discourse on sustainable and inclusive city-building.
As a thought leader in the architecture and real estate development industries, Jamie brought a wealth of experience to the conference. In addition to his leadership at KPF, Jamie had recently joined the MIT Center for Real Estate (MCRE) and University of Maastricht (UM) partnership program as both instructor and advisory board member, furthering his impact on the next generation of industry professionals.
At 2:00 PM, Jamie joined the panel “Extreme Weather: Navigating Climate Crisis and Political Headwinds in Development” alongside Tommy Craig (Hines), JP Flaherty (Tishman Speyer), Clare Newman (Trust for Governors Island), and moderated by Kate Ascher (Milstein Professor of Urban Development).
