Georgina Lalli Speaks at Bisnow New York Life Sciences & Biotech Summit 2025

On December 11, the KPF Senior Associate Principal joined industry leaders at the Bisnow New York Life Sciences & Biotech Summit to discuss strategies for planning, designing, and building the next generation of life sciences campuses in New York City.

With extensive experience leading the design and delivery of high-profile science and research projects, Georgina is recognized for her expertise in creating high-performance environments that respond to evolving tenant needs and market demands. KPF is currently advancing several life sciences developments in the New York region, including the all-electric Vagelos Innovation Laboratories at Columbia University and the renovation of the Mount Sinai Tisch Cancer Hospital.

On the panel “Planning, Designing & Building New York’s Next Generation of Life Sciences Campuses,” Georgina was joined by Scott Metzner, Janus Property Company; Ed Jaram, King Street Properties; Patrick Burke III, Columbia University; and Yasmeen Ahmed Pattie, East Egg Project Management. Together, they expored long-term strategies for competitiveness, insights into current tenant needs, and the role of design innovation in shaping the future of New York’s life sciences sector. Georgina shared her perspectives on how thoughtful architecture can support research, attract top talent, and create lasting value for both tenants and developers.
