Georgina Lalli and Andrew Werner Share Expertise at Urban Land Institute (ULI)’s Inaugural NEXT Northeast Corridor Meetup

The Senior Associate Principals led programming across the day-long event, including a leadership fireside chat, a tour of One Madison, and a closing happy hour hosted by KPF.

Georgina—a member of the ULI New York Management Committee and Executive Co-Chair of ULI New York’s NEXT Program—led a fireside chat with Sarah Hawkins of Hines, exploring leadership, career growth, and the road ahead for mid-career professionals in the AEC industry. Andrew guided a tour of One Madison, courtesy of SL Green Realty Corp., providing attendees with a firsthand look at the project from the design team’s perspective. KPF closed out the day by hosting a happy hour at the firm’s New York office.

The day’s programming also included an Infrastructure & Development Panel featuring Alkis Kilmathianos of Perkins Eastman, Bhavin Patel of the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, Kate Cunningham of Amtrak, John Coyne of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Geoffrey Luncy of Gensler, and David Dobkin of Parkway Corporation. Attendees also took part in tours of Penn Station and 25 Water Street, and a sound room demonstration at AKRF.

ULI NEXT is a program for mid-career professionals in the built environment, focused on developing leadership skills, expanding industry knowledge, and building lasting relationships across the ULI network.

The meetup took place in late May 2026 in New York City, brought together by ULI NEXT chapters from New York, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C., and hosted by Holland & Knight LLP.
