The KPF Senior Associate Principal joined other industry experts on a panel about the market impact of placemaking projects at the conference in Atlanta on May 13.
Focused on the current real estate trends and patterns of urban development defining the Atlanta metropolitan area, the conference organized leading experts into panels to exchange industry knowledge and make connections for future projects. Franz’s panel, titled “Market Defining Placemaking Projects,” discussed the impact of recently completed developments, such as KPF’s innovative 1020 Spring Street, which defies programmatic typification with its hospitality-forward offices and extensive outdoor space. He was joined on the panel by John Kelley, Partner at Toro Development; Ryan Howard, Senior Vice Principal of Development & Construction at CP Group; and Herbert Ames, Managing Director and Southeast Region Lead at EDENS.
The conference took place at the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta, GA, and ran from 8am to 1pm on May 13 with breaks for networking. Franz’s panel began at 11:45am local time.
