The landmark twin towers at the heart of the new Istanbul International Financial Center (IIFC) have been recognized by Dezeen as one of the Top 10 Skyscrapers of 2025, adding to a series of recent successes in international award programs.
Designed to support employee wellbeing, the office towers feature amenities such as prayer rooms, naturally ventilated spaces, and planted balcony breakout areas. Double-height atria provide varied working environments and encourage social interaction across floors.
Conceived as separate yet interconnected buildings, the towers are unified by a shared podium. The main entrance, defined by an eight-storey atrium, is distinguished by the pebble-like form of Ziraat Bank’s auditorium and conference center. Bridges spanning the atrium at multiple levels create visual and physical connections.
Since completion, Ziraat Bank Headquarters has received a CTBUH Award of Excellence, an Honorable Mention in the International Architecture Awards, a Special Mention in the Architizer A+ Awards, and was selected as a winning project in the Architecture MasterPrize.
