Opening this autumn, Chapter London Bridge is a high-quality student accommodation building located in central London.
Student accommodation floors provide a variety of living options, from self-contained studios to clusters of two or three bedrooms with shared facilities and spaces for communal dining and socialising. Amenity spaces include cafes, a gym, a cinema and a landscaped terrace on the 37th floor, encouraging interaction between users and creating a dynamic student living experience.
A pioneering prefabrication method was delivered by contractor Mace Group, using its innovative High-Rise Solution (HRS) system. This approach has reduced urban and environmental impacts. Structural engineers AKT II also received an award for their work on the project.
The Tall Buildings Awards recognise projects and firms that advance the design and construction of tall buildings in the UK. The awards aim to demonstrate how innovative technologies can add real value to the tall buildings sector in terms of building safety, environmental practices, cost efficiencies, and delivery timescales.
