Jumping 35 places since last year’s ranking, Atlantis The Royal joins Rosewood Hong Kong and Aman Tokyo in the top 10 of The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2024.
At number 9 on the 2024 list, Atlantis The Royal offers expansive views of Dubai to the East and the Persian Gulf to the West from its myriad terraces and outdoor spaces. Its unique stacked form is visible from miles away, providing guests with an easily discernible destination and Dubai citizens with a new coastal landmark.
Aman Tokyo, at number 7, occupies the uppermost floors of KPF’s Otemachi Tower in the Tokyo district of the same name. Juxtaposed with the bustling urban streets below, the hotel offers a serene and wellness-oriented environment ideal for relaxing after an active day of exploration. Aman also won the Ferrari Trento Most Admired Hotel Group Award 2024.
Rosewood Hong Kong sits at number 3 on the list, which defines it as “masterful minimalism meets marble-lined luxury.” The hotel, part of the KPF-designed development Victoria Dockside, occupies the entirety of a KPF tower at the tip of Kowloon Peninsula, surveying the city and adjacent harbor from its many balconies and full-height windows. Designed specifically for the hotel group, the tower comprises 413 units as well as 506 full-service residences, boutique office space, and many high-end amenities all operating under the renowned Rosewood name.
