Huamu Lot 10 and SouthWorks have been announced winners of the annual design awards.
Huamu Lot 10 was named Jury vote winner in the Office category. Huamu Lot 10, located in Shanghai, is defined by three office towers and a future museum carefully situated around a central grand plaza. The site is activated by surrounding cultural programming and is designed to accommodate large-scale artwork.
In the Masterplan category, SouthWorks, New York has won the Popular Choice public vote. SouthWorks envisions the adaptive reuse of the historic Morse Chain Industrial site in Ithaca, New York, as a diverse, sustainable neighborhood and regional economic catalyst that activates the community while celebrating its unique history. Winners of the Popular Choice Vote were selected by the public in a 2-week campaign.
