Wells Fargo Announces New Office Space at 20 Hudson Yards

The financial services company will expand its Hudson Yards footprint, bringing 2,300 employees to the KPF-designed building in a transformation of part of the space from retail to office.

Joining the company’s existing 500,000 square feet of office space in 30 Hudson Yards, Well Fargo will occupy three stories and 400,000 square feet in 20 Hudson Yards, transforming what was previously retail space into a state-of-the-art office environment. In a press release announcing the expansion, Wells Fargo CEO Charlie Scharf said, “This investment further solidifies our long-standing commitment to NYC and will help us create an enhanced, more collaborative environment for our NYC-based employees.”

Employees from the company’s current space at 150 East 42nd Street will be moving to the new office at 20 Hudson Yards once the transformation is complete. Wells Fargo will have a dedicated entrance on 10th Avenue, and employees will enjoy a variety of workplace settings and collaborative environments, as well as a company food hall and an all-day coffee bar with views of the Vessel. This is in addition to proximity to the almost 100 shops and restaurants in the building.
