The recently opened headquarters for the Baltimore-based firm reconnects the city and its waterfront through sustainable, pedestrian-focused architecture.
Designed by KPF with Beatty Harvey Coco Architects as the Architect of Record, the distinctive global headquarters reinvigorates a brownfield site on Baltimore’s Harbor Point. Composed of two buildings linked by a lobby atrium, the project takes advantage of its location on the waterfront, offering a walkable connection between a landscaped central plaza and the adjacent 4.5-acre Point Park. The office building also includes ground floor retail, roof gardens, and amenity spaces, all flooded with natural light and offering serene views of the Harbor. Designed to relink the city and the waterfront, the T. Rowe Price Headquarters integrates landscaped public space and incorporates a series of passive and active sustainability strategies to reduce whole-life carbon and increase resilience and comfort.
