KPF Design Principal Mustafa Chehabeddine discussed the design of the recently completed Abu Dhabi Airport Terminal A, while Director Jens Hardvendel joined a panel to discuss the future of aviation at the 2-day conference.
In a presentation titled “Global Gateways, Urban Transformations, and the Design of Abu Dhabi International Airports Terminal A,” Mustafa presented the KPF-designed terminal, which welcomed its first customers last month. Terminal A is a civic landmark and a gateway between the United Arab Emirates and the rest of the world.
Jens joined a panel of aviation pioneers and innovators to discuss the future of aviation, examining the challenges and opportunities in connecting regions and facilitating economic development. Joining Jens were Mahmoud Idris of Bagpoint for Information Technology, Osama Shasha of Middle East Tasks Company (METCO), Giulio De Carli of OneWorks, and Mahmoud Almashriqi of HUB Parking/FAAC Technologies.
