Laura King Discusses Designing for Future Adaptation at the NLA Retrofit Conference

KPF Director Laura King will join a panel discussion at NLA’s annual Retrofit Conference to consider how the shifting regulatory landscape is shaping the decarbonisation of London’s commercial building stock.

This year’s conference will focus on London’s commercial retrofit market. It will bring together experts, developers, and policymakers working on the capital’s existing building stock to explore emerging trends in commercial retrofit and define what best practice looks like today.

Laura will join a discussion on lessons for the future to consider the current challenges facing commercial retrofit projects, and how we can design today’s buildings to better prepare them for adaption. Laura will be joined on the panel by Luke Kelly, Head of Development Delivery, British Land; Sam Watkins, Director, TP Bennett; Hugo Dring, Director, Buro Four; and the session will be chaired by Kiru Balson, Principal Sustainability Consultant, Max Fordham.
