Inspired by the intricate beauty of plant cell structures, this new mixed-use residential development by KPF is the winning proposal in an international competition for Shenzhen’s Houhai district.
Five sculptural residential towers, ranging from 150-250 meters in height, create a rhythmic and elegant skyline that blends iconic architecture with lush, layered gardens. This project reimagines high-density luxury living as a refined urban sanctuary – balancing structure and softness, nature and city, privacy and connectivity.
Defined by a network of sculptural gardens, curated amenities, and secluded courtyards, the design offers residents a world immersed in nature within the bustle of the city. From tea pavilions and green lawns to children’s playrooms and serene arrival experiences, every detail is designed to shape a lifestyle where serenity meets vitality – rooted in nature, elevated by design.
