HKUST(GZ) and One Bangkok have been recognized among the region’s most outstanding development projects.
HKUST(GZ) is a 267-acre research campus in Nansha, Guangzhou. As lead architect and planner, KPF created a future-oriented academic community that cut carbon emissions by 54% from day one. The campus opened in September 2022 and has since earned numerous international accolades including MIPIM Awards 2023.
One Bangkok, is a lively, mixed-use district at the heart of the Thai capital. KPF designed four essential buildings within the SOM-led masterplan, totalling over 370,000 square metres: two Class-A office towers (Tower 4 and Tower 5) and their complementary retail companions, The Storeys and Post 1928. Completed in 2024, One Bangkok has already earned LEED Platinum certification and was named Best Mega Mixed-Use Development at the 2022 Thailand Property Awards.
The ULI Asia Pacific Awards for Excellence celebrate projects that demonstrate best practices across the full development process, from planning and design to construction and management. Winners will be announced at the ULI Asia Pacific Summit in Shanghai on May 26, 2026.
